Here’s How to Automate Meetings with AI

Fireflies is an amazing AI tool that saves a lot of time and hassle in meetings.

With it, you can record, transcribe and take notes automatically.

If you hold regular meetings with your team, and your meetings are all over the place, you need to see this.

Key features:

  • It records and transcribes meetings automatically, ensuring you never miss important details and making it easy to revisit discussions.

  • It integrates with Zoom, Slack, and Google Calendar, simplifying scheduling, note-taking, and task tracking.

  • You can easily make soundbites and share with your team members on Slack, Notion, or Asana, if they miss the meeting. You can even add comments, reactions, or pins on those soundbites.

  • You can capture important points, questions, and comments in real-time during meetings. And the best part is whenever you click on those points, the tool will take you back to that point of the meeting – so you can have a quick reference.

  • Fred is the AI assistant from Fireflies. You can ask questions from it about the meetings; like what’s supposed happen next after X meeting? And it will answer in seconds — saving you plenty of time and headaches, trying to remember what happened in the meeting.

Here's how to get started:

1. Sign up for an account:

Visit the Fireflies.ai website and sign up for a free account or choose a paid plan that suits your needs.

2. Connect Your Calendar and Communication Tools:

Integrate Fireflies with your preferred communication and calendar tools, such as Zoom, Google meet, and Google Calendar. This ensures that your meetings are automatically recorded and transcribed.

3. Start Meetings

Once your tools are connected, begin your meeting as usual. Fireflies.ai will seamlessly join the meeting, capturing and transcribing everything effortlessly.

4. Review your transcription:

After the meeting, Fireflies.ai provides you with a transcription that you can easily review on their website or access through email.

5 - After that, you can trim soundbites, add reactions or comments, and easily share with the team. It is a hassle-free way to let AI do the heavy-lifting.

6 - You can even assign tasks with voice command with the help of this tool.

Whether you are a small business, content creator, teacher or from any field, you can use this AI tool to (almost) automate everything in your regular meetings.

It has a free version with 800+ storage minutes. Paid versions have more exclusive features. Try it out here. [Not sponsored]

Google Will Anything You Post Publicly to Train AI
Who knew Google was such a digital hoarder? An update to their privacy policy now allows them to scrape any and all of your public online content for their AI projects.

Everything from your insightful blog posts to your throwback restaurant reviews could be part of Google's AI training, featuring in projects like Google Translate and Cloud AI.

But here's the twist: it's not just about who can see your posts anymore, but how your words might be remodeled by AI.

Data harvesting has stirred up a debate on privacy, even causing Twitter and Reddit to lock down their platforms.

So, next time you post online, remember: you might be talking to Google's AI!

AI Model Designed a Computer in Just 5 Hours!
Your next computer may be designed as fast you snooze! A new AI model designed a fully functional CPU in just under five hours.

That's a mind-boggling 1,000 times quicker than what it takes human minds to design a CPU at Intel, usually a four-year gig.

In a recent study, Chinese researchers shared their vision for the future of computing: AI self-evolving machines that can outpace human capabilities.

While their AI-generated CPU, based on the RISC-V 32IA instruction set, isn't quite as speedy as Intel's human-crafted processors, it still successfully runs the Linux operating system and performs on par with a 1991 Intel model.

Although this AI prowess doesn't quite match up to the latest human-designed CPUs, the researchers remain optimistic.

Their next goal? Deploy more advanced algorithms to supercharge their AI's CPU-designing speed and performance.

I’ll be honest, sometimes AI does scare me.

Anyways, here’s the full article.
