The director of the series confirmed that an AI operated by Method Studios produced the sequence, which featured metamorphosing watercolor renderings of the show's characters.

Because of the use of AI, people were mad about it as it likely replaced the jobs of humans — eliminated work opportunities for graphic designers and animators.

But Method Studios came out and cleared the air by saying that…”AI is just one tool among the array of tool sets our artists used. No artists’ jobs were replaced by incorporating these new tools.”
