➡️ ChatGPT’s upcoming features got leaked. ‘My Profile’, ‘File Uploads’, and more is coming to it — making it a ‘workspace’ thing?

Mind you, OpenAI has NOT yet disclosed any information regarding GPT’s new updates.

But seeing the supposedly leaked features, it seems like OpenAI is trying to provide a more personalised experience.

ChatGPT will remember you and your preferences. Maybe in the future, it act like an AI assistant, and will execute the day-to-day tasks — all on autopilot.

➡️ Two German researchers, Sophie Jentzsch and Kristian Kersting, tested 1,008 jokes — and 90% of them were the same 25 jokes.

Does that mean ChatGPT only knows 25 jokes?

They did this experiment to understand the ChatGPT 3.5’s capability to generate humour. Seems like it’s very limited.

They released a full research paper on this.

In it, they claimed that even variations of the prompts did not do much.

Take a look at this joke, for example. It was repeated 144 times:

“Q: Why did the scarecrow win an award? (140)
A: Because he was outstanding in his field.”

There were some unique jokes, but ChatGPT just mixed different elements of the same jokes to make it “appear” unique.

➡️ Bing Search is coming to ChatGPT. Bye-bye plugins and extensions.

As we all know, ChatGPT’s data is only limited to 2021.

Users have to use plugins and extensions to make GPT browse the Internet and generate responses based on the latest information.

But, not anymore.

Microsoft and OpenAI has been working in the background for so long.

And now, finally, Bing Search is going to be integrated into ChatGPT as the default search browser.

Exact timeline isn’t disclosed yet.

They just said “soon”.
