🎆 OpenAI’s First developer Conference in San Francisco

Sam Altman has hinted on their first ever developer conference in San Franciso.

Everybody thought they are introducing GPT-4.5 or GPT-5, but Sam was quick to refute this. But I am quite sure, its going to be OpenAI’s iPhone launch moment.

Mark your calendar for 6th Nov, because this is going to be big. Lets see if Sam shows up with black high neck and blue pants.

Anthropic, co-founded by former OpenAI staff, has rolled out a premium subscription option for its AI-driven chatbot, Claude 2. This paid plan, named Claude Pro, is available for $20 monthly, offering subscribers five times the usage compared to the free version. They'll also benefit from enhanced messaging features, priority during high-traffic periods, and early access to new features. This move places Claude Pro as a direct competitor to OpenAI's ChatGPT Plus.

💬 Slack introduces new AI tools that can recap channels & threads

Imagine using Slack with some nifty AI features. One of these features is channel recaps. It can automatically make brief summaries of all the messages in a channel. This comes in handy when you want to skip the chit-chat and catch up on the important stuff you might have missed. Plus, it can also summarize threaded conversations.

But that's not all – Slack AI has another cool trick up its sleeve. You can ask it questions, and it will search through all the messages, files, and channels in Slack to find you the answers. So, if you want to know about a specific topic, just ask, and Slack AI will give you a summary with a link to the relevant conversation. Pretty neat, right?
