1️⃣ Russia has created its own ChatGPT rival, called GigaChat. This tool is trained on Russian language and is multimodal compared to ChatGPT i.e you can give it text and images as input at the same time. Read more

2️⃣ EU’s new AI bill is about to pass. EU is drafting an AI Act which requires generative AI companies to disclose any copyrighted material used in training their models. This would be the first time that Generative AI is being regulated to this degree.
